DIY KFC Inspired Skinny Chicken-RECIPE

Hey guys! Hope you are  having a great week .

So, I LOVE KFC Chicken but the morning after a bucket of the good stuff, I feel guilty, greasy, sluggish just horrible so I decided to try to re-create a lazy and healthy version that tastes just as good with half the calories!

Check out my recipe

Ingredients:

6
Chicken drumsticks
1
Egg white
½  a cup
 TEX fried chicken coating
2   Tbs
Corn flour
1
Onion- finely chopped
½ Tsp
Salt
¼ tsp
Curry powder
¼ tsp
Thyme
1 cube
Chicken  stock

Olive Oil Spray- Fry Light

Directions:

1.       Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6.
2.      Boil the chicken with onions, salt, curry, thyme and stock cubes for 15minutes.
3.       Tip the Tex fried chicken coating and corn starch in a brown paper bag.
4.       Drain the chicken cover thoroughly in the egg whites .
5.       Drop the drumsticks 2 at a time in the Tex and corn flour mixture and shake that!(Watch this video if you are not sure)

6.       Place chicken on baking tray and cover with olive oil spray.
7.       Bake for 15mins or till golden brown.

Go on try it, you know you want to!

You can buy the Fry light and Tex mixture at most grocery stores, Tesco, Sainsbury.
