So like many people out there I struggle with procrastination, when I have so much serious work to do that is when I feel inspired to do mind numbing tasks. This weekend was no exception I spent a good chunk of playing with chocolate creations and honestly it was a lot of delicious fun.
CHOCODATE BALLS
Ingredients
- 20 grams of pitted dates
- 10grams of Cocoa powder
- 10 desiccated coconut or cashews
Instruction
- Grind ingredient in a coffee grinder or blender.
- Scoop mixture into an ice cream scoop or measuring spoon and press till it holds its shape(the dates will ensure this).
- Transfer to a mini muffin case and voila!
CHOCODATE HEARTS
This is so easy to make, do you know that if you combine cocoa powder and dates in a 2:1 ratio you can mould it and play with it as you would fondant? Well you can imagine what happened when I discovered this.
Ingredients
- 20 grams of pitted dates
- 10grams of Cocoa powder
Instruction
- Grind ingredient in a coffee grinder or blender.
- Mould into a ball and
Bob's your uncle. - Flatten ball with a rolling pin on a smooth surface and cut out exciting shaped using a cookie cutter or fondant cutter.
Was that super easy or what? The best part is that you can enjoy these guilt free as the ingredients are all natural, sugar free and and chock full of fibre.
Wishing you a wonderful week
Love
