HANDMADE TABLE PLACEMATS FOR GIRLY LUNCH

Hello pretty people hope you are having a lovely day. I had a pretty fun day and the highlight was 'lunching' with Tomi from www.VeganNigerian.com. I set myself a task of making a 4 course Vegan spread and got in touch with my inner Martha Stewart by deciding last minute to make some table place mats. I had gotten some summer flowers from the market yesterday, picked some wild flowers to compliment them but felt the table was missing something.

When I saw this polka dot pattern in my fabric stash I felt it was perfect for the occasion - fun girly with a touch of class. Making them was pretty simple, I cut the fabric in rectangles (the standard placemats are around 18inches by 14inches) then starched and ironed them and Voila!

So easy and no sewing machine needed.  I hope this encourages you to get crafty :).
